Continued it did…

After numerous delays…. My plane was originally supposed to leave at 7:20 the plane finally arrived at 10:40. We (as in the four people who stayed) were told we were going to do a quick board and be on the way. They plane unloaded and restocked as we waited and waited. Around 11:15 we asked what was going on… they had to wait for cargo to be loaded! We didn’t get on the plane until 11:30! Almost an hour after the plane arrived. Finally we loaded and then waited another 20 minutes for some maintenance guy to get on the plane. We landed at 12:45 (a shorter flight than expected, taxied for about 15 minutes.  When we got off the plane I called the shuttle from the hotel as I was instructed to do. Get to the baggage area, which was super far away for exhausted me, and proceed to walk around trying to find my bag. One guy was lucky enough  to get his bag a 1:20 and promptly left. So I went to the United counter. Since my original flight was to go on to Frankfurt the bags were waiting for transfer…. But wait! I wasn’t going to Frankfurt anymore I was going straight to Vienne. Thankfully they found my bags, gave me a taxi voucher, and I left around 2 am. What a day. Getting to my room around 2:30, I crashed and now feel slightly refreshed and ready to go for round 2. Maybe the airport won’t win this time…
